Finally, the battle is over
Rich Homie Quan has been going back and forth with his label for over a year, and it seemed like things were coming to a head. After the label counter-sued him over funds, the hopes fans had for his debut album started to dwindle. Now, it looks like there is still hope for the rapper and his label so that fans can finally hear the highly-anticipated album, as they have come to an official settlement.
Rich Homie filed a lawsuit against his label last year
The Atlanta entertainer sued his label, Think It’s A Game Records, for $2 million last year after he claimed there were unpaid royalties. The rapper has been delaying his debut album release for over a year, as fans have been anticipating its release. The two parties have finally reached an undisclosed settlement.
His label then counter-sued him
Think It’s A Game Records fired back at the rapper with a lawsuit of their own after they discovered he was suing them. The label claims that Rich Homie didn’t report money that he acquired from unauthorized music while he has been under contract with them.
