Watch out for the first step!
It happens to all of us: you’re looking fly walking down the street, you think you’re the baddest person around, then… your face hits the pavement. People come rushing to your aid, asking if you’re okay—you shrug it off and run from the embarrassment. Well, it’s worse when it happens while you’re entertaining thousands of people. These rappers and musicians were trying to put on a show, but they were so into it they just didn’t realize how close they were to the edge… of the stage.
While Young Buck was trying to carve out a solo career in 2010, he wanted his fans to be all about him. He had already finished his concert and left the stage, but then he came back to invite everyone to an after-party. He may have scared them away when he fell off the stage and said, “Make sure ya’ll put that on YouTube too, motherf**ker.”
Rev. Run’s son was just trying to earn some credibility as a rapper, but that flew out the window when he fell off the stage during his song “Great Expectations.” How ironic.
When Rich Boy was at the height of his career, he took a hard fall downward. While performing “Throw Some Ds,” he fell right off the stage as a speaker he had his foot on gave way. As he struggled back on stage, he said, “I fell for y’all. I did that for y’all.”
