Migos took an L here
Offset and Quavo famously squared up with the producers and hosts of Everyday Struggle. They didn’t look scared then and they definitely aren’t now that they’ve seen what the rappers look like in action.
Two-thirds of Migos took on a big dude in a fight outside the W Hotel on Lexington Ave. in New York, shortly after performing at the Power 105.1 Powerhouse show. Despite Migos’ posturing and quickness to have each other’s backs in ad-libs and fisticuffs, the big dude just seems to roll them off his back. Migos’ fists are so much water on a duck’s back for this guy. It’s not a good look.
TMZ reports that the authorities weren’t called, so everyone apparently kept it moving after the incident.
A Happy Week
The fight comes in what should be a happy week for the Migos clan. Offset proposed to Cardi B Oct. 28 while she was on stage in Philadelphia, and she said yes! Cardi has spent the week gushing about her relationship and how excited she is to be Mrs. Migo.
“Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, offsetyrn I loveee you so much,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me. For giving me advice molding me and loving me,” she began in an Instagram caption. “Your such a amazing man to me your family, friends, kids and you are extremely talented. I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you. Lets make a lot shmoney and love together ❤️ ❤️”
She let off a string of posts celebrating the fact that she’s engaged.
“OK guys I know I keep posting about this day but I just can’t believe it.I keep replaying it in my head.I keep smiling every minute.I should have known something was up since this nigga keep telling me to go get my nails done 😂Like since when you cared about my nails 🤔😩I love you and I love how you managed to get my mom to come out and witness my engagement.Im the happiest girl in the world”
Her reaction should come as no surprise given the way that she’s reacted to the question of marriage in the past. In an MTV interview, she let it be known that she was down to tie the knot, without putting any pressure on Offset.
“I’m a woman. Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can,” she said
When the interviewer asked her if she was applying pressure on her famous beau, she said,, “I don’t gotta put the pressure, you know what I’m saying? I put it down. Ain’t no pressure, baby!”
As if that wasn’t enough, Offset’s future wifey also landed the cover of Rolling Stone. Cardi covered the magazine’s “Hot Issue.” The magazine was in talks with Migos earlier this year, but opted to put John Oliver on that particular cover instead.
