You win some, you lose a lot
It’s been two days since the Atlanta Falcons lost the Super Bowl and their loss is still affecting their fans. Sunday evening, things were looking up for the Falcons who seemed like they were going to beat the pants off the patriots. But in the fourth quarter, things took a major turn, ending with a score of 34-28. It was the first time in Super Bowl history that a game had to go into overtime, and the Patriots defeated the Falcons.
Nothing was well within the Falcons fan community, especially in Atlanta. But one person who is probably still wiping tears from his eyes is rapper Offset. The Georgia rapper and one-third of Migos placed large bets on the game with all the confidence that Atlanta was going to take hope the big trophy. He was wrong.
Migos Custom Cleats

The red and black cleats features the Falcons’ slogan, “Rise Up”, and are designed with artwork inspired by the Atlanta trio’s latest album, Culture, and Donald Glover’s (aka Childish Gambino) FX show, Atlanta. Even if Julio actually wore these cleats on the field, it wouldn’t have been enough to bring the Falcons or Offset’s pockets to victory.
Under Armour tweeted a photo of the cool shoes.

The two were seen flossing their jewels on social media. But the fun and games soon came to an end when the Falcons lost and Offset realized it was time to pay the piper.
According to Offset, he lost $50,000 to a few people he placed bets with, including rapper Blac Youngsta, who he kist ten grand to. “Blac Youngsta punk ass got me for $10,000,” Offset said to TMZ while waving a wad of money in his hand. Sure, he was able to pay the ten back, but what about the rest? Here’s how Offset explained he was going to pay his dues…
