In trouble again
Meek Mill seems to like getting himself in trouble. After all the Drake beef and his breakup with Nicki Minaj, you’d think that he’d be on his best behavior, but unfortunately he’s been dragged into the middle of a sticky situation. It may not have been completely his fault, but he’s tied into it now.
Right now the 30-year-old rapper finds himself in a situation that he doesn’t want to be in. He’s currently being sued by the family of a man that was shot outside of his concert in Connecticut this past December. What could he have possibly done to be involved with the shooting?
Two men named Travis Ward and Jaqan Graves were killed outside of the concert after it was over, and two others were injured in the situation. The family is trying to sue both Meek and the venue that hosted the event because “proper security wasn’t provided at the show.”
The family’s lawyer is taking a huge leap by claiming that Meek Mill’s lyrics are part of the reason that they need stronger security at his concerts. He said “With song titles like ‘body count’ and ‘oh kill ’em’ that praise indiscriminate killing and mayhem, the potential for tragic incidents like this should have been properly anticipated and planned for by Meek Mill, his concert promoters and the Oakdale Theatre.”
