Luda is far from done with rap
If Ludacris retired from music, it’s not like he would be too bad off. They will continue to make Fast & Furious movies until the Earth is swallowed by the sun. I, personally, will be there at every opening night with $10 in hand. But Luda is still firmly denouncing the idea that his music career is dead, or even on the back burner.
“Definitely not dead,” he said, when asked bluntly about the idea by The Shade Room at the VMAs. “I’m taking my time putting out more music.”
“When you get to the ninth album stage and you’ve sold over 20 million records, sometime it’s a process and you just gotta take your time with the process,” he added. “It’s expected. Any artist that takes a lot of time in-between albums, you always gon’ have people that say that. But music is number one. If it wasn’t for music, I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now.”
