The 34-year-old Lil Wayne promised to retire when he turned 35. His birthday is right around the corner in September, but he might want to consider slowing things down a little faster after this situation. He’s being sued for an alleged hate crime involving a security guard, and the guard says that the incident was definitely racially motivated.
Lil Wayne has had a lot of positive energy around him recently. With his new hit song “I’m the One” with DJ Khaled, and even being invited to perform at Yo Gotti’s birthday party, things are looking pretty good for the rapper. However, this new story coming out about Wayne doesn’t look so great.
News came out saying that Lil Wayne might be finding himself in the middle of a lawsuit for an alleged hate crime. The story comes as an update to an incident that happened last year. After Wayne attended the BET awards last June, he supposedly punched a white security guard at a nightclub. Unfortunately for Wayne, the story doesn’t end after the punch.
The security guard says that Weezy punched him which ended up in him falling to the ground. He said that while he was already on the ground, Wayne threw a glass of alcohol at him and yelled “F**k you white boy!”
The man from Florida is now trying to get $25,000 from Wayne for the damages caused by this alleged hate crime.
