If you thought your multi-million dollar home was bringing you bad luck, would you pack up and move far away? Well, that’s what Lil Wayne is doing with his $18 million Miami Beach mansion. He purchased the house for a cool $12 mil in 2006, but since last year, he’s been experiencing some really bad juju. From crazy lurkers to a number of incidents and police invasions, the rapper is finally putting the house on the market.
Last March, police rushed to Wayne’s home. Apparently, someone called the cops, saying they just “shot four people” and that he would “kill anyone and everything” if the police showed up. Police swarmed his house and cleared the outside before entering. Wayne was reportedly cooperative with the police, but then he got pissed and screamed, “I’m tired of this sh*t. Take me to jail.”
The police actually cuffed him, but when they didn’t find a victim, they let him go. He then calmed down and thanked them for doing their job. They later learned the call was a hoax.
Fans were worried when the heard the news, but someone from the Young Money team made sure to update them via Twitter and let them know he was “okay.”
Less than two weeks before the March 2015 incident, police arrived at Wayne’s house to check out a suspicious person lurking around. Police rushed to his home at 3 a.m. Wayne wasn’t home at the time, but cops searched the block and his yard. They didn’t find anyone.
Sell, Sell, Sell
Wayne has been trying to sell his mansion for some time now but has yet to get a serious buyer. But he’s at his wits end and is ready to move out until a buyer comes along. Well, it may take a while before the right person wants to drop THIS kinda dough…
