Word of Mouth
Tupac’s legacy is an interesting one. His life took place right before we had cameras on every celebrity 24/7, and because of that, we’re missing a lot of his life. All we have to go by is the stories that we here from other people who were around him.
Lil Cease from the Mafia Dons recently opened up. He and his fellow group members talked about their confrontations with both Biggie and Tupac. They also mentioned their thoughts on smoking Tupac’s ashes.
Right in the beginning of the interview the crew was asked about the yelling match they had with Tupac and Suge Knight.
“You seen the part of the movie. After Big won the award, we was outside waiting for our car to pull up. Him and Suge had pulled up in a Hummer. You know just yellin a bunch of sh*t to us. But you know nothing happened. All the securities and a bunch of people got in between and we all got in the car. But I had my words to say too, I was just yelling a whole bunch of sh*t at them,” he said.
The interviewer mentioned how people forget how young everyone involved was. Cease responded, “Yeah, you know, you gotta think about it. Pac and Big were 24, 25 years old when they passed away. Like I look at it now I’m like damn man… they was kids back then let alone us. We were like 5, 6 years younger than them. That was just the sh*t that teenagers would do.”
The video then flashes back to a time when VLadTV did an interview with the Outlawz about smoking Tupac’s ashes. They talked about how they put together their own type of ceremony at the beach. They made it seem like it was an “in the moment” decision to smoke the ashes, but they do mention how Tupac raps “Last wishes n***as smoke my ashes,” in one of his songs.
