Going dutch, anyone?
Think about that awkward moment at the end of a dinner date. The waiter didn’t ask if you wanted the check together or separate; when he puts it on the table, you and your date just stare at it for a few minutes, wondering who’s going to volunteer to pay it first.
Who’s responsible for paying it? The person who makes more money? The man because “that’s how it’s always been”?
These are the issues LHHNY’s DJ Drewski and his fiance Sky Landish discussed in a candid Instagram video that Drewski posted… Sky’s opinion is kind of a hot take.
Ever since DJ Drewski was added to LHHNY in season seven, he and Sky have been fan favorites. They’ve provided some of the cutest couple moments of the show and seem to be going strong.
Fans were thrilled when they got engaged; wedding bells will be ringing soon. In the meantime, it probably won’t hurt to work out who’s going to pay for what.
A Man’s Job
In this day and age, many people believe that who pays for what is no longer a question of whether you’re a man or a woman, but Sky seems to have a different opinion on this.
She argues that it’s up to Drewski to pay every penny of the rent for their shared apartment and says that it’s okay because he’s the man; she helps with groceries and taking care of the house.
Bickering on Film
Both Sky and Drewski seem to be pretty sure they are right because they weren’t afraid to take their opinions public in this Instagram video. They lay it all out, and even though they go back and forth with some pretty understandable debates, it seems to end at a stalemate.
