It’s so easy to watch your money dissipate when you’re a celebrity. You’re flooded with a myriad of bills pertaining to your homes, cars, clothing, team of friends, and more. Sometimes, people can’t keep track of their money and watch their financial bubble burst because of frivolous spending. Luckily, for Jay Z, he doesn’t have those problems. But unfortunately for him, someone close to him might be on their last breath financially…
Memphis Bleek might be seriously broke.
According to Bossip, Memphis Bleek is struggling immensely to keep up with his bills. Back in March, the former Roc-A-Fella rapper reportedly filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. With a slew of bills mounting higher and higher, Bleek thought it would be best to cut his losses and succumb to bankruptcy.
Bleek’s major assets consist of his Jersey home, Chevy Impala, wedding rings, and all of his clothing. The sum of all of these things comes out to $274,000. That’s not good considering his liabilities come in at a whopping total $350,000. To make matters worse, he also claims that he only has $100 in cash.
By the Numbers
Memphis Bleek reportedly makes roughly $5,911.94 on a monthly basis, with a huge chunk of that money coming in from his business. So with Bleek earning $5,340.94 through his business ventures, he only makes $574 dollars through his royalty checks for his musical endeavors. His monthly expenses come out to $5,377, leaving him with a paltry $534.94 after his bills are paid.
Remember, Bleek hasn’t put out an album in over a decade.
