Mile High Tensions
Singer/songwriter Jacquees, known for hits like “Lost at Sea” with fellow Cash Money Records member Birdman, was kicked off a Delta flight this past weekend for refusing to get off his phone. The RnB crooner disregarded the pilot’s instruction to turn off all cell phones prior to takeoff, eventually leading to the plane being taxied back to the terminal.
It wasn’t until the the “B.E.D.” singer got the B.O.O.T. that another passenger decided to elevate the situation by muttering something that didn’t sit well with the rapper. Read on to see the video of the heated confrontation between Jacquees and the man who wasn’t having any of his drama.
Who is Jacquees?
Jacquees is a 23-year-old singer from Georgia. Since 2010 he’s worked with the likes of Rich Homie Quan, T.I., Young Thug, and more – since 2014 he has signed with Birdman’s Cash Money Records as one of their most promising up-and-comers.
According to TMZ, Jacquees refused to get off the phone while his plane was taxiing out of his hometown airport in Atlanta. Sources close to the singer say he was on the phone with his mother, but that didn’t matter to the pilot who turned back to the terminal where Jacquees was escorted off.
As a flight attendant escorted Jacqueez off the plane, one passenger decided to show his gratitude towards the singer for delaying the flight. This of course, did not sit well with the young singer and a heated exchange ensued.
