That's too much sauce
Rappers have money, and we know it. How do we know, you might ask? They tell us… in every. single. song. Rappers love to flaunt their money, and we know they make a lot of it, but who has the most? Check out the richest rappers, according to the Forbes list in 2017.
While Jay Z doesn’t make as much music as he used to, he’s still making an incredible amount of money. Just last year, he made a $200 million investment in Tidal; it’s currently valued at $600 million and only looking up.
Drake has been dominating the rap game these past few years; Forbes has him valued at $90 million. That’s a lot of money. Last year his album Views was the first album to get over 1 billion spins on Apple Music, that’s a lot of zeros.
One that might surprise you is Birdman. He’s pretty much the owner of Young Money and Cash Money, which has held rappers like Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga, Nicki Minaj, etc. He’s getting a cut of everyone’s profits. He’s valued at a whopping $110 million along with Ronald Williams, the other owner of Cash Money Records.
