What else could Drake really need?
Drake knows he’s killing it right now, he’s got 20 songs in the Billboard Top 100 and he’s pumping out new music all the time. When it comes to life goals and accomplishments you’d think he would be content with where he is now, but he wants a little bit more.
A man of many talents
Drake has been killing it lately, everybody knows his name and he has now spent an incredible 400 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, so why would he want to go back to television? He definitely doesn’t need to, that’s for sure.
A true performer
The now rapper is no rookie when it comes to television, as his career started off getting kickstarted by playing a character in the Canadian TV show Degrassi. He’s also had plenty experience acting in different skits in his music videos, and he’s been great when hosting events like the ESPY’s in 2014.
In a recent interview with John Calipari, basketball head coach for the University of Kentucky, Drake said that one of his biggest goals in life has always been to host his own late night television show. He said he’d want something along the lines of a Johnny Carson type show, those are some big shoes to fill.
