Is Aubrey untouchable?
Drake seems to be getting himself into a lot of different feuds and beefs these days, but his latest one might be with an entire radio station. The Toronto superstar has already been deflecting shots from Joe Budden, as well as Tory Lanez, but he’s using his concert stages to send some warning shots of his own. The Summer Sixteen Tour stage is a dangerous place for anyone who has problems with Drizzy, and now Hot 97 might have a problem on their hands.
Last night, Drake took time during his set to do a freestyle regarding the New York City hip hop station. Complex reported on social media that the rapper said “f**k Hot 97” during his rant against the station, and social media went into a complete frenzy over it.
Twitter completely blew up over the alleged comments
Tons of influencers from New York questioned why Drake would make the comments about the station, and were even upset that he said it while in Madison Square Garden. Others even called out those cheering the rapper on for dissing the station, and stuck up for Hot 97’s legacy in hip hop.
Footage soon surfaced from the concert, but there seemed to be no evidence of Drake saying the words “f**k Hot 97.” The rapper did a freestyle that said he would only do interviews with the station if they fired Funkmaster Flex. The DJ and the rapper have been going back and forth for some time following the beef he had last year with Meek Mill.
