TLC is a girl group from Atlanta that’s been active since the 90’s. They’ve pumped out music for years; they recently announced that they will be releasing their final album as TLC in 2017. TLC member Chilli, born Rozonda Thomas, recently said some things about the Black Lives Matter movement that rubbed some people the wrong way. Was she wrong?
Not the Same
Their final album is set to drop next month, but the group hasn’t been the same since their loss of Lisa Left Eye. Chilli got a lot of backlash on the internet when she sat down for an interview and voiced her opinion.
She was asked how she felt about the Black Lives Matter movement kicking off in America, and she responded with: “I personally didn’t go to any marches or anything like that. For me, all lives matter, you know what I mean.”
Needless to say… People didn’t know what she meant.
See what she said!
You can watch her response for yourself here, and you can be the judge of what she said. Was it something that warranted a bad reception, or are people just taking things the wrong way?
