He had that lean, and got caught
Some rappers are so set on living the thug life that they just can’t stay out of trouble. The problem with that is once they land in prison, they can’t make music, or keep themselves relevant in the eyes of their fans. Chief Keef was a very talented rapper who came up through YouTube, but his behavior this year, including this recent arrest, could destroy his musical future.
The 21-year-old Chief Keef (real name Keith Cozart) was a young phenom out of Chicago who got big because of his skilled raps on YouTube. He got so known that the cash rolled in like a tidal wave, and he’s been rolling around in luxury cars ever since.
Recently, Chief Keef was hanging in Miami, Florida with his boys, driving around the beach in his gorgeous green McLaren.
The car was driven by Chief Keef, and police watched as the car’s passenger Cortez McElrath hopped out and went to an Altima behind them. He handed the passenger Eddie Bryant a bag with what looked like marijuana.
Y’all can’t run from the police
It was then that Cortez saw the cops coming. He ran back to Chief Keef’s car, but the police got to him first and held him at taser-point. Keef and two other passengers were detained in the McLaren.
That’s when the cops found all the stuff that the rapper and his entourage were hiding…
