Thick & Thin
When Offset’s iCloud was hacked into, fans got a look inside his relationship with Cardi B. Unfortunately, not too many people were pleased with what they saw. Several leaked videos later, all eyes are on the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.
Long story short: Cardi B is still with Offset—regardless of the mounds of “evidence” of his alleged cheating—simply because she can be with him. She’s an adult highly capable of making her own choices, which is exactly what she told people who insisted on continuously asking her why she’s still with Offset.
Though she didn’t have to, hip-hop’s current favorite defended her decision to stay with her man, keeping it real and honest the whole time.
Wave No. 1
The first wave of cheating allegations swooped in after a video of Offset with another woman hit the internet. Though his face wasn’t shown, Offset’s voice was heard pretty clearly in the clip. On top of that, dedicated Twitter instigators found photos of the Migos rapper wearing the same pants that are shown in the short video.
Cardi — who is currently occupying three of the Billboard 100’s top 10 spots — didn’t directly respond to the video, but news of her calling in a lawyer surfaced shortly afterwards.
Alongside leaking incriminating videos against Offset, the rapper’s hacker dropped a private video that Cardi sent to her fiancé of two months. She told fans that though she didn’t mind being naked on the internet, citing her years of stripping, the invasion of privacy is inexcusable.
One Big Distraction
The “Bartier Cardi” rapper shared that the recent headlines surrounding her relationship are a “distraction” from her music. “I really hate when s**t like this happens because it takes away from my work. It takes away from my plans,” Cardi said in an Instagram Live video.
“The focus is not on my s**t,” she added. “The gossip always over-beats.”
“This s**t happens to everyone.”
Now that a second round of videos has been circulating for a few days, fans pressured Cardi, who has always been vocal about her experiences on social media, to speak on her relationship status a second time. Although, this go around, she didn’t sugar coat anything.
After explaining that “the last two videos” were behind her, the rapper — who recently celebrated her one millionth Instagram follower — reminded everyone that “people handle they relationship different.”
“No it’s not right for a nikka to cheat…But what you want me to do ?Go f**k me another nikka ?start all over again and get cheated on again ?” she questioned on Twitter. “This s**t happens to everyone.”
