Ryan Henry claimed that he was leaving Black Ink Crew and pulled the curtain down on the way out. In a series of Instagram comments, the 9Mag head and reality TV star said that he didn’t own the shop that his show takes place in, that the production company behind the show pays for everything (including the salaries of his so-called employees), and that he was hitting the road.

“Throw the whole show away. I quit anyway,” he began his talk about the successful VH1 franchise.

Henry went on to say that he feels like he’s been ousted from the store he started to make room for the show about it.

“That space ain’t mine,” he said. “[The artists] don’t work for me. They all work for BigFish Entertainment. I’m just on a show with them ppl. That’s not 9Mag no more it’s the set and cast of Black Ink Crew: Chicago.”

However, Ryan quickly walked back his comments in the light of day. According to The Shade Room, Henry said that he was drunk when he wrote his rant.
