This got super real.
Ashanti and Ja Rule do their best to stay out of harms way whenever they’re together, and they do their best to hold each other up. The dynamic hip hop duo reunited once again last night as they were on their way to an event, but were stopped by a police officer on the way. Things got very confrontational between the three, and it was all captured on Ashanti’s Snapchat.
The two were label mates on Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. label throughout the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Ashanti and Ja Rule have made countless hits together, and became one of the biggest “it” boy-girl duos in the whole genre.
After over a decade of not making music together, the two reunited after Ja Rule was released from his prison stint. The two are said to be working on more music, and are planning a tour together. Rule even said that the two are also working on a movie, which should be released in the near future.
The duo reunited during a car ride, which Ashanti captured on Snapchat for her loyal fans to get excited about. Unfortunately, they were stopped by a police officer, and got pulled over. Ashanti continued to document what was going on through her social media account as things started heating up between the duo and the officer.
