He called him a "fruit biscuit"
Rapper, actor, and entrepreneur 50 Cent may be doing better in the entertainment business than anyone ever thought possible, but he’s still not over throwing low blows at other celebs. He’s had beef with so many people over the years that we can’t even keep count, but it all seems like it comes out of nowhere with a big slice of pettiness thrown on top.
Beef With 50
Remember when 50 was coming at Ja Rule hard? It allegedly stemmed from an incident that 50 wasn’t even involved in, but they beefed for years nonetheless. 50 Cent wrote about how it all started in his autobiography entitled From Pieces to Weight:
“A friend of mine robbed Ja Rule. That’s how the beef originally started. My man robbed him for a chain, and then this guy named Brown came and got the chain back for Ja. Later, Ja saw me in a club with the kid who robbed him. I went over to say, ‘What’s up’ to Ja, and he acted like he had a problem with me. But I’m not the one who robbed him.”
Then it was Rick Ross who got him riled up. 50 Cent’s baby mama Shanique Topkins left the home that Fif owned in Long Island in 2008 because a fire destroyed it. Rick Ross saw this as a huge opportunity to diss him, and he rapped in “Mafia Music”:
“I love to pay ya bills, can’t wait to pay your rent /
Curtis Jackson baby mama, I ain’t askin’ for a cent /
Burn the house down n**ga, you gotta buy another /
Don’t forget the gas can, jealous stupid mother**ker…”
Murda Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti wasn’t about to take 50 Cent’s legendary abuse. He called out 50’s penchant for getting orders of protection against people. He said, “The guy who’s proclaiming to be the roughest, toughest Don Dolla bully? N**ga you got beat up and poked up…and you took out an order of protection! That’s women s**t! You’re sayin’ ‘I smell p**sy,’ it’s you, ni**a… we just gotta sit and weather the f**kin’ storm, while this n**ga is smackin’ us and spittin’ in our faces. We have to go like this, ‘thank you, may I have another?’”
Now he’s scrapping with Diddy, one of the longest running rappers-turned-businessmen in the game. 50 decided to go after Diddy for his appearance on XXL Magazine’s 20-year anniversary cover, saying, “N**ga tried to make his eyes look all glossy, This n**ga a fruit biscuit. LOL.” Then 50 posted a picture of Sean Combs alongside a dog with the caption, “N**ga you ain’t got no hazel eyes, unless that’s like cataracts or some s**t. LOL.”
XXL released 20 covers for their anniversary including one featuring 50 Cent in a stylish puffy jacket throwing three dice. Other artists on the collectible covers include Nicki Minaj, Pusha-T, Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, E-40, and Snoop Dogg.
While this behavior seems totally unnecessary on 50’s part, it made sense after he added a promotion for his brand new variety show on BET called 50 Central. He wrote on both of his bashing pictures, “Tune in 50Central 10:30 PM ON BET.”
Hopefully Diddy will see these jabs as just a marketing tool for the show with no hard feelings involved. Or he’ll fire back when the time is right. Gotta respect the game. What do you think about Diddy’s magazine cover? Let us know what you think about it in the comments and SHARE this story!
