He can't catch a break
It’s been a rough year for The Game, and it’s only going to get worse.
The Game was ordered to pay up for his beatdown of 40 Glocc which was captured on video and spread around the internet by The Game and his people. The 2012 beating cost the rapper nearly $200K. Or it would have, if The Game had paid up.
According to TMZ Glocc is suing The Game, claiming he never ponied up the cash. The documents the website claims to have their hands on state that 40 never saw a cent of the court-ordered $196,000 he was supposed to receive. Now, he’s looking for that plus interest.
Glocc says that The Game now owes him $216,775.52 and adds that The Game is using shell companies to hide his money and avoid paying the full amount.
Somebody Stop Him
The lawsuit is just the latest bad news to hit The Game this year. He’s suffered a series of misfortunes — some self-inflicted — throughout the year because no one seems to be able to tell the rapper what’s a bad look.
He recently came to Usher’s defense after the R&B singer was accused of willfully infecting several women with the herpes virus. In the wake of a year that’s seen countless women finally speaking out about wrongs done to them, The Game landed on exactly the wrong side of this case.
“Stop tryna tear n***as down with all this maybe bogus s**t,” he wrote on social media. He continued int he post:
“Jane Doe this & Jane Doe that… a week ago everybody were Usher fans, now because of a health condition he may or may not have, its f**k Usher, stay away from him, his wife should’ve done this etc… 1/2 the people commenting in here ain’t even took a shower or brushed they teeth this morning yet & got dirty d**ks & fish market smellin’ v*ginas tryna weigh in on somebody else’s life… foh & let this man live bruh.”
Bad Looks Abound
If that wasn’t a terrible enough look, The Game also got called out for trying to slide into a minor’s DMs.
“Why did the game just DM my little sister… I’m disgusted,” Twitter user Symphani Soto (@SymphaniSoto) tweeted.
She continued about the inappropriate exchange, calling out The Game. “These guys don’t even care they just lurkin on everyone, it’s nasty,” Symphani wrote. “He can really catch this fade. He just needs to chill talk to women his age.”
While The Game never addressed the accusation directly, he did announce a hiatus from social media shortly thereafter, saying,
“This will be my last post for 60 days. Going to lay off the gram for a hot minute to really focus on my fitness & transforming my body from what it is now to what I really want it to be. A small part of that has to do with toxic people, energy & atmosphere as well, just like some food, people too are bad for your health so you have to rid yourself of that element & start fresh.”
