This brand new hip hop beef will definitely go down in the history books. Up-and-coming rapper 22 Savage was violated when he was pulled off of the stage and had his expensive jewelry stolen right off of his neck. The guys who have it say that he’s going to have to give them a ton of money to get it back, and they claim that they only took it because he’s just full of disrespect for other people in the game. Young 22 decided he would show the thieves what he was made of and sent his boys out to show them how serious he was.
On May 19th, 22’s gold Travis James chain was stolen while he was performing in San Antonio, Texas.
While the rapper was on stage, he got taken off by some people in the crowd; they were showing him their disapproval as well as taking this chain off of his neck. It ended up in the possession of another rapper who has since named his price for getting it back.
San Antonio rapper Chris P claims that he’s holding the chain for $20,000 because he feels that 22 needs to be taught a lesson. 22 Savage based his entire style off of 21 Savage.
Chris P said, “N****s wasn’t feeling how he did 21, with the name and all that…” 21 Savage recently signed to Epic Records.
The Goon Squad
In the ongoing battle to get his chain back, 22 Savage decided that he would send out reinforcements. Chris P came out saying that 22 really did send out his entourage to address the situation on his behalf, but they may have went to the wrong place.
