Do We Really Want Another T-Pain Album?

Despite having released music here and there, it may seem like T-Pain has been a bit low key on the new music radar in recent years. The Thr33 Ringz singer released his The Iron Way mixtape this past year, and while it was certainly a solid project to fans, it didn’t seem to pick up on popularity as much as his fan base would probably like. Now, Pain is supposed to finally be working on his next album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, but it hasn’t gotten a steady release date yet. With the consistent hits Pain is able to put out, it seems like the perfect time for the rapper ternt sanga to give us some more greatness.

Last year in September, Pain announced that his long awaited Stoicville: The Phoenix album was set to release in December, but unfortunately, we came into the New Year without a peep. Yesterday, the singer released a brand new track called, “Do Dat Sh*t,” but we still have no update on when the album may come out this year.

It’s been a minute since we’ve received a new album from T-Pain, even though we’ve still gotten new releases. His The Iron Way tape was definitely an ear-pleaser, and gave us a good taste of Pain’s growth. It even had a good range of turn-up tracks and sensual bangers. We already know Pain is capable of making a solid project, and with rap up on top right now, especially in the South, it may be awesome to hear some southern R&B flavor come to the surface and take over.
