Today at HHMW we’re celebrating the release of Cypress Hill’s self-titled debut record. This record was released, in what most of us consider, the golden era of hip-hop. From California, Cypress Hill consisted of B-Real, DJ Muggs, Sen Dog, and Eric Bobo.

Cypress Hill’s debut record gained major success as it went to sell 2 million copies worldwide. They were nominated for several Grammy awards and, with that said, they were well on their way to earning a spot as hip-hop royalty.
