Curren$y Drops Surprise Mixtape on Fans

On February 24, Curren$y dropped a surprise mixtape for his fans, titled The Spring Collection. Released through his Jet Life Recordings label, the mixtape contains twelve tracks and includes features from Joey Bada$$ and fellow Jet Life label mates Young Roddy, Corner Boy P and Street Wiz.

The mixtape’s release comes ahead of the anticipated release of Back At Burnie’s, Spitta’s ninth studio album. The album is expected to drop tomorrow, March 16. Back At Burnie’s will be a follow-up to Curren$y’s 2011 album Weekend At Burnie’s. It seems as though production on the album will be spearheaded by MonstaBeatz, who produced all of the last Burnie’s, with the exception of the intro. For those who are interested, the cover art is designed by CJ Wallis of FortyFPS. Check out the tracklist for his new mixtape below.
