Common is one of hip-hop’s most celebrated lyricists, but now it looks like the Chicago native is taking on a new endeavor. After numerous film cameos, the Nobody’s Smiling rapper has just signed on to host a television program. Spike TV has enlisted the conscious MC to host Framework — a show that gives aspiring furniture makers a chance to win $100K. The network explained why they hired the artist below:
