In an interview with “The Mac Attack”, Cam decided that he would shelve the Dab for good, in hopes of producing a new celebration dance for the upcoming season. “I have to put that aside,” he explained.

In an November 15th match-up against the Titans, linebacker Avery Williamson expressed his dislike for the dance. A mother who attended that same game went far enough to pen a letter against Newton.
