Beyonce Leads In Nominations for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards

Queen Bey is still stinging. The nominees for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards were announced on Friday and Beyoncé Knowles leads with five nominations. Beyoncé becomes the most nominated woman in the history of the Grammys with nominations including Best R&B Performance, Album of the Year, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Film. Also making a big debut at the 57th Annual Grammy’s will be UK singer Sam Smith who also has five nominations. Everyone’s favorite rapper Iggy Azalea made the list as well in the Record of the Year category with her hit song “Fancy.” Also nominated at this year’s Grammy’s for Best Rap Album are Childish Gambino’s Because the Internet, Common’s Nobody Smiling, Wiz Khalifah’s Blacc Hollywood, and Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron. Other nominees include Usher, Eric Church, Gordon Goodwin and Miranda Lambert. This year’s award show should be very interesting.
