Who doesn’t love chowing down on some crispy bacon early in the morning? Everyone’s morning fixation apparently is doing more good than bad. According to studies by the World Health Org, 50g of processed meat including bacon, sausages, and salami can increase your chances of developing colorectal cancer by 18%.
So essentially, two strips of bacon on a daily basis can cause some pain and affliction later on in life because they are said to be carcinogenic. Many have already attempted to debunk those claims by stressing the health benefits of red meat.
Don’t fret, folks. You can still have an occasional bacon sandwich, just make sure to do so with moderation.
