NYC may be cleaning up their subway cars, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see some great graffiti across the country. Here are eight locations to see some sweet tags.
Bowery Graffiti Wall, NYC
A graffiti mecca since 1982, the wall went legit in 2008 when the owners invitedOs Gmeos, Shepard Fairey and Lady Aiko among others to rotate pieces on the wall.
Graffiti has gone semi-legit in recent years, but remains a sort of “outlaw” artform, with more illegal tags than legal. Here are some locations to see the best of both.
