Cash Money Records was once an indomitable empire with an abundance of talent. I mean, they still are if you consider the trio of Drake, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj. Besides those three, other artists on the label have been left for dead. They continue to rot away on the shelf and watch their fanbases deteriorate day by day. It’s a sad and chilling reality. With Birdman at the helm, we need answers as to why these artists haven’t been given a fair shot.

Gudda was a promising star on the side of Wayne during Young Money’s peak. He provided a strong balance of wittiness and aggressiveness. After dropping his mixtape Redrum in 2013, he made appearances on Wayne’s I’m Not a Human Being II, Rich Gang and Young Money: Rise of An Empire. His debut album, Guddaville was supposed to drop, but never did.
Cory Gunz is another rapper who possessed untapped potential. His show stealing verse on Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” propelled him into stardom. Sadly, he wasn’t able to generate the buzz he needed to succeed after that verse. Once again, he teamed up with Wayne on “6 Foot, 7 Foot” and shined radiantly. He hasn’t dropped a mixtape since 2013 and was last featured on Wayne’s FWA.
