15 Minutes of Fame: Craig Mack

Craig Mack — the man who came from Bad Boy camp and, in 1994, you couldn’t go anywhere without hearing his track, “Flava In Ya Ear.” Released on Bad Boy, Sean Combs — as a young executive — was the young executive at the time when releasing this song.

Also, “Flava In Ya Ear” gave us an intro to Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes as a solo performer outside his collabs and group, Leaders of the New School. The single would reach number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100  and sold over a million copies. But that would be all from the Mack as he had no follow-up album which, later, he departed ways from the label. Mack was never heard from again.
